Getting Through the Holidays

“Inhale the future, exhale the past”

A few weeks before Thanksgiving and all the time after, we seem to blur the lines of accountability. Whether you’re super busy, or overworked with year end, I’m here to help suggest a few things that help me through the Holidays.IMG_9871

We love to throw parties and have family and friends over just as much as anyone else during the holidays. However, this can make for additional stress and responsibly for the months of November and December. Parties, birthdays, holidays, events on top of events! It’s truly amazing how everything can come together to give you a back-to-back, action packed life.

Stressed just thinking about it?

Some people love the busy, but what if you’re not prepared and just reacting? If so, there’s a good chance you may be feeling overwhelmed and helpless when it comes to some of your general priorities.

Sticking to your priorities can be as simple as you make it. The thing I find the most interesting is the power of the mind and the things we tell ourselves to justify our actions during the holidays. Not trying to say you’re doing something wrong. What I intend to say is, instead of veering away from our goals we may have set a long time ago, let us stay on track. Let us continue to move forward boundlessly into our future and feel good about it.

 Let’s make it to the new year, keep your head from falling off, a smile on your face, and prevent you from feeling held back form moving toward the future. Here are some simple things you can do.

  1. Breath.
  2. Prioritize.
  3. Stay focused.
  4. Set daily goals.
  5. Shorten to-do-list.
  6. Hold   yourself   accountable.
  7. Celebrate,   but  don’t  annihilate.
  8. Eat clean. Its not as hard as your making it.
  9. Walk. It will clear your mind and keep your sole happy.
  10. Relax.
