Do you remember being a child when the smell of fresh cookies filled your home? You knew nothing about “calories” and eating healthy. All you knew was COOKIES! A furry, blue monster on Sesame Street devoured them all day long and the taste of chocolate chips touched your lips like Heaven. The sweet, decadent, warm, fresh out of the oven, the best part of any day, cookies!
Fast forward to becoming an adult and learning the true benefits of eating cookies all day long. Absolutely nothing. This Cookie Monster as we call him has been lying to us about delicious cookies. He has forgotten to tell us they should be eaten in moderation. He forgot to mention they don’t really add any benefit when replacing a meal with them. He forgot to tell you that all those green-jacket girls would be there haunting and taunting you ALL THE TIME with their delicious cookies!
Fear not my friends. This is all just a bad dream and I am going to wake you up. As I like to call it, “having your cookies and eating them too.” In the past, I have told you about foods that can help you grow longer, stronger hair. Well, Im here to give you a way to add in some of those healthy foods to your cookies and make something absolutely delicious and nutritious. Why? Well, because, once again, I have been slaving in my kitchen to bring you cookies with protein. No, don’t worry, they taste amazing!
I have partnered with my favorite protein CNP Professional Pro Dessert. This is an instant pudding mix that allows for that nice gooey, fluffy, soft centered cookie like mom used to bake. Depending on what you’re trying to do with them, you can even spice them up with a few candies like we have done here. Today, we may have gone a little overboard but we’re just making sure we won’t eat all of them at once. “Everything in moderation” someone wise once told me. So I’ll be sitting down to a cookie here in a moment and might even share some with the neighbors.
